About Sachi
I am currently studying English Literature and Film Studies at the University of Southampton. I believe that anyone can achieve the grades they require and even exceed those expectations. English can be difficult to grasp but it certainly is within the capability of every student.

My overall aim is to encourage not just academic improvement but also a genuine interest in English. This means contextualising what is taught in schools as real-world knowledge as well as educational knowledge. I tutored two GCSE students for ten weeks online and their improvement, even in one hour lessons, was immense. I wish to keep lessons around one to one and a half hours long and at the GCSE level (Year 10 and Year 11). Students will learn other important skills such as how to read and analyse texts, and how to write an essay. Overall, students will learn not only the contents of their syllabus but also the skills to progress.
