About James
I am a GCSE English teacher and head of year in a Manchester secondary school. I teach classes of around 30 students at both ks3 and ks4. I also deliver virtual tutoring sessions to mainstream school students and looked after children that have become disengaged with education.

As a professional teacher i am caring, passionate, enthusiastic, and excited about providing engaging and challenging learning experiences. In my classroom i believe all students have the fundamental right to have access to a successful and fulfilling education in order to be productive and valuable members of society.
I take on a holistic, flexible and differentiated pedagogical approach to teaching to allow for inclusivity within my classroom. I strongly believe there is no one size fits all approach to pedagogy and learning. Therefore i constantly need to know my students backgrounds, ethnicity, cultures and capabilities to provide quality and engaging learning experiences to engage and challenge all students.
