About Helena
I am a passionate and experienced Geography teacher and Assistant Headteacher who genuinely enjoys helping students succeed and grow in confidence. Over the past 15 years, I have worked with a wide range of learners and understand that every student is different, which is why I value personalised support so highly. My love for Geography is shaped not only by teaching, but by living abroad and travelling extensively, giving me real-world global experiences that I bring into my lessons. As a former professional athlete in rowing, I understand discipline, resilience, and the importance of mindset, which I help students develop in their studies. As a parent myself, I also appreciate the pressures students face and the importance of building confidence and self-belief. I chose to tutor because it allows me to make a meaningful difference to each individual student, helping them achieve their full potential.

My lessons are ideal for GCSE Geography students (Years 10–11) aiming to strengthen understanding, improve exam technique, and achieve higher grades.
