About Elizabeth
I am a current undergraduate German and beginner’s Russian student at the university of Oxford, having achieved a nine in my German GCSE and an A* at A level. I want to teach as I feel many students give up easily on language GCSE qualifications, deeming them useless. However, I believe it is important to keep up effort across all subjects and learning a language can come in very handy!
I also teach English literature. I achieved a nine at GCSE and an A* at A level. As a lover of literature, I want to support those that wish to push themselves, and also those that are struggling with the way in which it is taught at their school. As English can have difficult concepts to grasp, it is important that some students have one on one explanation and support.

Lesson plans will be adapted to individual styles of learning, and based on school teachers’ advice and comments. There will be the option to work through content as well as exam techniques In terms of German GCSE sessions, speaking, reading, writing or listening can be especially focused depending on what the student requires.
