About Dipak
I am a PhD qualified chemist and currently work as a Senior Scientist. I combine strong academic training with real-world scientific experience, allowing me to teach chemistry with clarity, depth, and relevance.
Chemistry can often feel abstract or intimidating, especially at exam level. My aim is to make it logical, understandable, and approachable by focusing on core principles and clear explanations. I take a calm, structured, and supportive approach to tutoring, ensuring students feel comfortable asking questions and gradually build confidence in their ability.
I am professional, reliable, and well-prepared for each lesson. I tailor my teaching to the individual student’s level, goals, and exam requirements, whether they are working towards GCSEs, A-Levels, or university coursework. My experience as a practising scientist means I can explain not only what to learn, but why it matters and how it fits into the wider scientific picture.
I take pride in clear communication, strong organisation, and maintaining a respectful and encouraging learning environment. My goal is to help students achieve better results while developing genuine understanding and confidence in chemistry.

I use a clear, concept-focused and structured approach tailored to each student. My teaching emphasises building strong fundamentals by explaining why chemical principles work, not just how to answer questions. For GCSE and A-Level students, lessons are aligned with exam board requirements and include regular exam-style practice and step-by-step problem solving. I adapt my pace and explanations to suit each learner and focus on building confidence and understanding.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long. Longer 90-minute sessions are available for exam preparation, revision, or more challenging topics.
