My name is Lauren and I’m a dance teacher based in Cheshire.
I am an experienced GCSE & A-Level Dance teacher teaching the AQA Exam Specification as well as teaching contemporary dance, pom and GCSE Dance at a dance school of an evening. I also have experience of moderating and standardising performance material at GCSE level.
I gained a First class Dance degree and then completed my PGCE in Secondary and Further Education.
I thoroughly enjoy working with young people, ensuring that they feel safe within the dance environment.
I currently deliver tutoring session online but in person sessions within the Cheshire/ Wirral area can be requested.
Sessions are tailored to each individuals needs and can focus on any part of the specification including sections A,B&C as well as the practical elements: set phrase, performance piece and choreography at GCSE for example.
I have an up to date DBS and I am mental health first aid trained.
I am available most weekday evenings and potentially mornings of a weekend.
Having taught online during lockdown and tutoring online since, I have experience of using both teams and google classroom.
All of my resources are provided as online versions that can be shared instantly.
