About Adam
Hi, I'm Adam, an 18-year-old maths tutor with a strong interest in helping students improve their understanding and confidence in maths.
I enjoy explaining mathematical concepts in a simple and clear way, and I find it rewarding to help students overcome topics they previously found difficult. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I always aim to adapt my explanations and teaching style to suit the individual student.
I am patient, supportive and approachable, and my goal is to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and working through problems step by step.
Outside of tutoring, I have experience helping others with maths and enjoy seeing students gain confidence as they begin to understand the subject more clearly.

My lessons are tailored to each student depending on their current level and what they are working towards in school.
I begin by identifying the topics the student finds most difficult, and then break these down into clear and manageable steps. During lessons we work through explanations, practice questions and exam-style problems to make sure the student fully understands the method rather than just memorising answers.
I focus strongly on building confidence in maths, as many students struggle simply because they have lost confidence in the subject. By working through problems together and gradually increasing the difficulty, students can develop both their skills and their confidence.
Lessons are friendly, patient and supportive, with plenty of opportunity for students to ask questions and work through problems at their own pace. I can also help with homework, revision and exam preparation.
