About Genevieve
Having graduated in 2022, I empathise with the challenges students face—juggling deadlines with limited support.
This is why I am motivated to aid passionate students in achieving their best and spark a passion in those who struggle to enjoy certain subjects.
Specialising in History, English, and Religious Education, I excel in text analysis, interpretation, research, and argument construction.
These aforementioned skills are easily transferable across writing based subjects and I hope to strengthen these skills in all my pupils.
My commitment lies in meeting individual needs, fostering confidence, and promoting knowledge growth.

As a dedicated Tutor I focus on understanding my tutees' current grasp of topics to tailor my teaching methods. Whether through note-taking, trivia, discussions, or debates, ensuring an engaging and exciting learning experience is a priority.
I align my teaching with the curriculum, guiding students to apply knowledge effectively in exams. Regular check-ins outside of lessons foster accountability and help tutees feel supported. I also assist with homework and coursework for those who do not yet feel confident completing these tasks without support.
With a recently accomplished History degree, three A-levels, and seven GCSEs, I bring both expertise and a fresh memory of what it is like to be in my pupils shoes. During my studies, I served as the 2016 Tower Hamlets Ambassador of Faith and Belief, teaching primary school students about different faiths and tolerance.
Comfortable with ages 8-16, my tutoring sessions typically last 1.5 hours, combining check-ins and deep dives into new content
