About Levi
Hi,
I’m Levi, I’m passionate about maths — not just doing it, but explaining it in a way that actually makes sense. Too many students get told what to do without ever understanding why it works, and that’s where things start to feel confusing or boring. My goal is to change that.
I recently completed my General Engineering Diploma at Stanmore College, achieving D*D*D*, and earned an A in Maths IGCSE. Engineering is basically maths applied to real problems, so I’ve spent years using the exact skills I now teach — not just studying them on paper.
Outside of tutoring, you’ll usually find me on a football pitch, playing an instrument, or working through a chess game. Chess, especially, has taught me a lot about the kind of thinking that makes someone good at maths — spotting patterns, planning ahead, and learning from mistakes instead of fearing them. I try to bring that same mindset into every session.
I’m just getting started as a tutor, and I’m genuinely excited about it. That means you get someone energetic, fully invested in your progress, and not stretched thin across dozens of students.

Maths doesn’t have to feel like a wall of numbers and rules to memorise. I help Year 7–9 students see why maths works — connecting it to things they already care about, so it sticks.
MY APPROACH
Real-world, not just textbook. Fractions become pizza slices and recipe scaling. Percentages become discounts on the trainers they actually want. Algebra becomes the logic behind video game scoring systems. When a concept connects to something real, it stops being abstract and starts making sense.
Learning that doesn’t feel like a chore. I use games, puzzles, and challenges alongside structured practice — because a student who’s engaged retains more than a student who’s just getting through the worksheet. Lessons move at a pace that keeps curiosity alive, not just attention.
Built around your child, not a fixed script. Every student gets stuck in different places. Some need to slow down on number foundations before algebra clicks. Others are ready to be pushed further. I adjust session by session based on what I’m actually seeing — not a one-size-fits-all curriculum.
