About Darshan

I am a medical doctor (MBBS- Kings College, UK), graduating in 2005 and completing my MRCP in 2008. I worked as a Specialist Registrar for more than 8 years (infectious diseases/general medicine)

I have more than 15 years of experience of tutoring and mentoring medical colleagues and have experience in preparing students for specific exams including PLAB 2, OSCE’s for finals and MRCP. I also teach English as a foreign language (TEFL). Happy to cover most topics, although I have particular strengths in communication skills and clinical reasoning. References are available on request.

About the lesson

My style is to be flexible and fun to support learning. I believe learning should be enjoyable. I like to make the lessons relevant to the students’ goals and interests.

Lessons can range from 30 mins- 1 hour and are generally conducted during weekdays.

I am a Turkish medical doctor coming to work in the UK. I worked with Darshan Online from November 2021- February 2022. During this period we regularly practiced cases (Clinical cases and communication/ethics stations) We continue to stay in touch regarding my medical journey.

Regarding Darshan's teaching ability, he is an excellent tutor to work with and to trust. He is knowledgeable, warm, and so kind on the top of that he is motivating. If you say something wrong, he corrects you without making you feel bad about yourself. You won't be even aware of it.

Thank you/ Teşekkürler

I am an International Medical Graduate from India. I am doing Clinical MD in General Internal Medicine in the University of Hertfordshire. As part of this programme, since February 2022, Dr Darshan has been delivering weekly tutorials regarding plab 2 scenarios. We go through practical cases similar to the ones in plab 2 and he gives me a very good understanding regarding the patient history, data gathering and communication skills. I would be very happy to recommend him without any reservation for any postgraduate looking for personalised tution and mentorship.

Whilst I was a medical student at GKT, Darshan regularly provided bedside teaching in preparation for OSCEs for me and several colleagues. This provided invaluable experience in examination skills, presentation of findings, diagnosis, and management of conditions. Darshan was a very patient and knowledgable teacher, and certainly helped me be successful in all my exams.
