About Louisa
I graduated with honors from NYU a degree in English Literature and a minor in Child Psychology. I have nine years of experience as an elementary school teacher and received a dual Master's in Childhood/Special Education from Touro College. I am also a musician and have three years of experience teaching children ages 7-16 in the areas of piano, singing, and musical theater. This fall I am going to be pursuing my MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Houston.

Compassion educator with experience who will expertly evaluate students' areas of strength and needs in order to best support them. The goal for my lessons will be to help students achieve independence and confidence in tutoring areas. Lessons are for elementary and middle school students who are either struggling in an area of content or who want to deepen their understanding.
