About Khadijah
I am a fully qualified geography teacher and teach geography to year 7s all the way up to year 11s in secondary school in North London. I am confident to teach GCSE and A Level specifications, especially with the AQA and OCR exam boards. I have lots of experience marking exam questions and using a student's answers to assess how much they understand and where the gaps are. Geography is my passion and I work hard to ensure my lessons are both engaging and challenging, so that my students excel in the subject. I am a patient teacher and will support a student's learning until they understand a concept. Through my job as a teacher, I am very aware of what students struggle with and am well equipped to help. This year I have had to work hard to get my year 11s to a place where they could sit a GCSE paper and get a grade 4 or above. Covid has really taught me how to precisely and effectively support students' learning in limited time. I have also become very proficient in teaching online lessons for students and still being able to assess students' work and help them fix their own mistakes.
