About Paul
I am a geologist/geochemist with university teaching experience, analytical laboratory experience, and international field experience. My focus and publication history has been in analytical chemistry, environmental geochemistry, geochemistry of mercury pollution from historical gold mining, exploration geochemistry, geostatistics, and geology/geochemistry of platinum-group element deposits. I reside in Reno, Nevada, USA.

I taught classes and did funded research at a state university for 27 years, teaching and guiding both undergraduate and graduate students periodically. This included occasional classroom lecturing as well as hands-on laboratory and field instruction. There was occasional personal tutoring as well.
