About Mark
Hey! I'm Mark. I was born up in Connecticut, USA and reside and work in Atlanta, GA. I'm a full time software engineer for this company called NCR; we create point of sale software, and actually invented self checkout!
For as long as I can remember, I've had an uncanny knack for music. From a young age I was able to tell the keys of songs, the notes making up chords, and more, by ear. I'm quite grateful for this ability.
And frankly, it allows me to teach in a unique way and offer a unique perspective that cannot be found elsewhere, really. I'm so happy with what I have to offer.
But not only that- with my backgrounds in engineering (I graduated from Georgia Tech with a Computer Science degree) and in jazz performance (I've studied jazz clarinet, alto/tenor saxophone, and piano for 10+ years each) I'm truly confident I can answer all of your questions about music.
We can talk about music theory, saxophone/piano, music production, and wayyy more- I assure you. I've been writing and composing music for more than half of my life. For the past 4 years I've been producing electronic music with FL Studio and Ableton; I make house, dubstep, jazz, orchestral/cinematic, and so many other genres in between. I love it all. And I can help you get there, too.

I am an advanced jazz musician and music producer who discovered a gift for teaching and for music at an early age. I have performed and studied jazz saxophone, clarinet, and piano for over 10 years. I write and compose much music. I produce electronic music as well. I am very skilled in Ableton Live and FL Studio and can teach you everything you need to know to produce INCREDIBLE sounding music- and I know this because I have done so myself. (Happy to prove that by showing you my stuff :)
