About Sofie
I have taught German for five years, first in Germany, now in Geneva, Switzerland. In the beginning, I started teaching the main school subjects.
However, I always focused on languages. They are my passion which I want to spread. My motivation is to help my students to discover pleasure in learning and using a foreign language. By developing individual methods with them, I show them how to learn more effectively. A good strategy, not only for young people!

For the past five years I have been giving private lessons to students. What motivates me is the belief that my students already have all the potential to learn - and it is my mission to help them discover and use this potential!
Due to my passion for languages, I have learned three languages myself . For that, I know what difficulties can occur when you are learning a language - and how to handle them.
I meet my students in a place they choose - university, library or at home.

Excellent! Sofie est une professeur engagée qui recherche un enseignement optimal et personnalisé. Elle s’adapte facilement aux demandes de l’élève, autant pour un suivi scolaire continu qu’un approfondissement dans l’expression oral en allemand.
Je n’ai malheureusement pas eu l’occasion de poursuivre mes cours avec elle mais son enthousiasme et sa douceur m’ont permis de me sentir à l’aise rapidement.

Sofie est très sympathique et très compétente ! De part son excellent niveau de français et l’allemand étant sa langue maternelle, elle est extrêmement bien placée pour l’enseignement de ces langues. Elle a beaucoup de patiente et sait toujours comment expliquer les choses, tant au point de vue du vocabulaire que du point de vue grammatical!
