About Shana
Hi! I'm Shana, 23 years old and studying Political Communication in my Masters. I am currently living in Zurich and will move to Amsterdam in August. My mothertongue is German, I've also spoken English all my life, coming from a very multicultural family. I've worked as a teacher for one year before starting my Bachelors in Political Science at the University of Zurich in 2019. I learned during that time, that I have a great passion for teaching and helping people who are willing to learn improve their skills. During my studies I have tutored several people (kids and adults) in the subjects French (up to B1), Spanish (Beginners), English (all levels) and German (all levels).

I've been tutoring students for 3 years now and have found the teaching style that works best. If you are looking to improve your vocabulary I am sure that we will have a great time. You can choose which part you would like to focus on:
- Speaking. I'll prepare a current topic and bring a vocabulary list. We will improve your speaking skills and practice them in conversations adapted to your personal level.
- Reading. Every lesson we will work on a text which I bring to the lesson based on your level. Based on this text we will look at important grammar and the vocabulary of the text. You'll be given a vocabulary list at the end of every lesson.
I am open to new ideas and we can shape the content of the lesson together. Every student gets their own plan and I am sure that we will find whats best for you
