Within my teaching methodology, I employ the CET framework, focusing on Concept, Memory, and Testing. This approach entails a comprehensive understanding of the concept, persistent retention through frequent self-testing, and the implementation of pre and post-assessment quizzes for each class. To further facilitate active recall—a scientifically validated method for effective memorization—I personally craft online placards for students. I am eager to welcome you to the class and anticipate a productive and collaborative learning experience together.

  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

Biology was never just a subject for me — it was the subject that made everything else make sense. Growing up, I was endlessly fascinated by how the human body works, how life organises itself at every level from a single cell to an entire ecosystem. That fascination carried me through my MBBS at Government Medical College, Mahabubnagar, where I graduated as a gold medallist, and now through my MD in Pharmacology at Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad. The deeper I go into medicine, the more I appreciate how beautifully Biology — the same Biology that NEET students are studying right now — forms the foundation of everything. When I teach NEET Biology, I'm not just teaching a syllabus. I'm handing students the same foundation that built my entire medical career.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

NEET is one of the most high-stakes exams a young student will ever sit. I remember that pressure vividly. What I also remember is how much clarity matters in those crucial months — one well-explained concept can be the difference between confusion and confidence. I started teaching Biology to NEET aspirants because I genuinely wanted to be that clarity for someone. As a doctor who has lived the journey from NEET preparation to medical college to postgraduate research, I can offer something beyond textbook answers — I can show students exactly why what they're learning matters, and where they'll use it in real medical life. That connection between the exam and the career ahead is what keeps my students motivated, and honestly, it keeps me motivated too.
  • How does your work help society?

Every NEET aspirant I teach is a future doctor, potentially serving thousands of patients over a lifetime. When I help a student truly understand Human Physiology, Genetics, or Ecology — not just memorise it but internalise it — I'm contributing to a generation of more thoughtful, better-prepared medical professionals. India has a massive and growing need for quality doctors, especially in smaller towns and underserved communities. By helping students crack NEET and enter medical college with a strong conceptual foundation, I'm playing a small but real role in strengthening Indian healthcare from the very first step. Good doctors start with good Biology students, and good Biology students start with good teachers.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam comes to mind first — not just as a scientist, but as someone who believed deeply that a single inspired teacher can change the trajectory of a nation. He spoke often about the teachers who lit a fire in him, and I think every educator quietly hopes to do the same. In the context of NEET teaching specifically, I look up to educators who refuse to make Biology feel like a burden of rote learning, and instead make it feel like a living, breathing subject. That's the standard I hold myself to — making sure that when a student leaves my session, Biology feels less like something to memorise and more like something to understand and even love.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

Outside of teaching and research, I have a real love for food — exploring Hyderabad's food scene is a favourite weekend ritual for me. I'm also genuinely interested in the science behind everyday life — skincare, nutrition, hair care — which, as a pharmacologist, I just can't help but analyse! I enjoy content creation and medical writing, which I'm actively developing alongside my academic career. I'd say I'm someone who is always reading, always curious, and always trying to find the story behind the science. That curiosity, I think, is the most important thing I bring into a classroom.
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

I once had a NEET student who was completely overwhelmed by the chapter on Neural Control and Coordination. She had read it four times and still felt lost. Instead of going through it again the same way, I asked her to forget the textbook for a moment and just think about what happens when she touches something hot. We built the entire concept — receptors, afferent nerves, spinal cord, efferent nerves, effectors — from that one real-life second. Her face changed completely. She said, "So it was always this simple and no one told me?" She cleared NEET that year. That moment stays with me because it reminded me that Biology isn't hard — it's just often taught in a way that feels disconnected from life. Reconnecting those dots is exactly what I'm here to do.
