About Gretha
Over the years and in my professional life, I have done a variety of different jobs. My field is Geographic Information Systems or GIS. In my PhD research, I focussed on the standardisation of spatial crime research. I am primarily a researcher, but have done consulting, and I have many years of lecturing experience.
I initially started teaching part-time GIS short courses to mostly post-grad students. Soon after that I also started teaching the 1st and 2nd-year modules. All in all I have roughly 10 years of in-person lecturing experience.

I follow a structured approach in which we'll cover the relevant theory and do practical exercises to ensure that you can apply newly acquired theoretical knowledge.
I have a PhD and can teach students up to Masters level.
