About Seyi's
Hello, future students! My name is Seyi, and I'm so excited to be your English teacher. I'm really passionate about the English language — I love learning new things about it and finding fun, simple ways to explain them, whether I'm chatting with friends and family or sharing tips with people online. I want to teach because I believe understanding a language should feel exciting, not stressful, and I can't wait to help you discover just how fun learning English can be!

I'm an immersive tutor, my goal isn't just to get students through an exam, but to help them genuinely understand and feel confident using the English language. I meet every student where they are, adapting my pace and explanations to how they individually learn, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method. My lessons combine grammar, phonetics, reading, and spelling in a way that builds real comprehension, not just memorized answers, so students retain what they learn long after the lesson ends.
Typical lesson length
My classes run for one hour, held every Saturday from 9:00–10:00 AM Nigerian Time.
Qualifications and experience
I've personally tutored my younger brother through his exams, successfully guiding him to a pass through consistent, focused coaching. Beyond one-on-one tutoring, I also run an English-language TikTok page where I break down the meaning and correct usage of words for a wider audience — something that's sharpened both my ability to explain language concepts clearly and my awareness of the mistakes learners most commonly make.

My lessons are designed for children aged 6 to 12, covering foundational skills: grammar, phonetics, reading, and spelling — appropriate to this age group.
