My name is Machi, and I am a Greek-Chinese University of Glasgow graduate. I have lived in China, Greece, and now in the UK - through this multicultural academic and personal background I have been taught many things that I would love to spread to more people!

Through my previous work as a private English writing tutor as well as at international education groups being an English-speaking tutor, I have found that the most crucial part of learning is engagement. Students should be excited about learning through genuine engagement and enjoyment of lessons; this motivates them to set and strive to achieve personal goals. I have found that shorter (no more than 1-1.5 hours) lessons help maintain students' attention and are generally more memorable, although this can be flexible depending on demand. Depending on the necessary content, I am capable of teaching students of all ages and levels.
