About Bukky
I am a proactive maths teacher that is always willing to give my best to make my students find fun in learning. I take a special interest in understanding the needs of students I work with by collaborating with the appropriate personnel. This is one of the main tools that enable me to meet their learning needs in planning and enabling them to learn. I have effectively managed, encouraged, inspired, and raised aspirations in the diverse category of students to support their learning process. I have successfully motivated learners who are sceptical about learning maths, and learners who have been out of the school environment for a long time, to develop their skills, knowledge and build their confidence.

My lesson starts with a starter work - to refresh the memory of students of topics already learnt. Followed by the main topic (new topic is introduced) of the day. Many examples are given, then students are given practice questions based on the topic. Then some live tasks for more understanding of the new topic. The class ends with a few minutes game based on the new topic and finally homework is given to students. Every student gets class tasks according to their ability (differentiation). More challenging tasks are given to students that finish their tasks quickly.
