About Amy
I am a Gold Seal CFI and have helped 11 students earn their aviation licenses on their first checkride attempt.
I am a survey pilot for the NJ Forest Fire Service and fly their daily water quality survey flights from April through October. I also teach at Ocean Aire Flight School (Part 61) in Bayville, NJ, and have successfully taught three high school students who earned their private pilot certificates. I am comfortable teaching older students as well.

I will provide Online ground school tutoring for private pilot, instrument, commercial and UAS students looking to enhance their aeronatutical knowledge. I use a variety of online resources such as Sporty's syllabus, aviationweather.gov, and Skyvector. I recommend students use a simulator for instrument training and PilotEdge for ATC proficiency. If students want more prepping for their oral portion of their checkride, I am happy to work with them.
I work with students and adjust my teaching style to their needs. In some cases, tutoring sessions can be conducted in a local library. I do not offer in-home tutoring.
