About Johnnie
I have been teaching guitar for nearly as long as I have been playing it, when I would teach my younger sister to play the chords so I could solo. What I found then, and still find today, is that teaching is a two way experience invaluable to both parties, where (on top of specific, targeted exercises) experimentation and musical conversation is key.
I believe this to be the best approach as it inspires passion for music in any student which will be the best tool available in developing your skills.

I will tailor lessons to students wants and needs. Whether you want to learn chords to play pop songs or metal riffs and solos to shred, I've got you. I will be able to supplement this knowledge with music theory to help my students build a network of knowledge they can apply to anything they learn in the future.
I do 60 minute lessons and have been tutoring students since I was in secondary school. I specialise in beginner and intermediate musicians of any age. While I am happy to do lessons online, I would recommend in person lessons.
