About Abdullah
I’m a motivated Grade 9 student who enjoys helping younger students feel more confident in Math and Science. I have always liked breaking down difficult ideas into simpler steps and finding different ways to explain something until it finally makes sense.
Over time, I have had the opportunity to work with children of different ages and abilities, which has taught me that every student needs something slightly different. Some students need more examples, some need visuals, and others simply need someone patient enough to slow things down and explain the idea in another way.
I currently maintain a 4.0 GPA, and I take both my own academics and my students’ learning seriously. At the same time, I try to make lessons comfortable and encouraging. I want students to feel that they can ask questions, make mistakes, and learn without feeling embarrassed or pressured.
One thing I especially value is building confidence. I do not want a student to simply get through one homework question with my help; I want them to understand the concept well enough that they can handle a similar question on their own later.
I aim to be patient, dependable, respectful, and prepared for every lesson. Whether a student is struggling with a topic, wants extra practice, or simply wants to get ahead, my goal is to make learning feel clearer, less stressful, and more manageable.

I believe that every student learns differently, so I do not use the exact same teaching method for everyone. During the first few lessons, I focus on understanding how the student learns best. I may try visual explanations, worked examples, step-by-step instruction, practice questions, diagrams, verbal explanations, and short activities to see which methods help the student understand and remember concepts most effectively. From there, I adapt my lessons to their individual learning style.
My goal is not simply to give students answers. I want them to understand why something works so that they can eventually solve problems independently. I break difficult topics into smaller, manageable steps, use simple examples before moving to harder questions, and regularly check understanding throughout the lesson. I also encourage students to ask questions without feeling embarrassed or pressured.
A typical lesson begins with a short review of what the student already knows and any areas they found difficult. I then introduce or explain the main concept using examples suited to their learning style. After that, we work through questions together before the student attempts similar problems independently. Near the end of the lesson, I review the most important ideas, correct any misunderstandings, and identify what we should focus on next.
What sets me apart is the amount of attention I give to how each individual student learns. I do not immediately jump into a fixed lesson plan. I use the first few sessions to experiment with different teaching techniques and determine which approach works best for that student. I also try to create a comfortable environment where students can make mistakes, ask questions, and build confidence instead of simply memorizing information.
I have been tutoring for almost three years and have worked with students ranging from approximately 4 years old to Grade 9. My tutoring experience includes Math, Science, and religious studies. I currently maintain a 4.0 GPA, which reflects the strong academic habits and understanding that I bring to my tutoring.
My Superprof lessons are primarily for students in Grades 1–9 who need support in Math and General Science. I can work with students who are struggling with a subject, need homework or test preparation, want to strengthen their foundations, or are already doing well and would like additional practice or more challenging material. Lessons are adjusted according to the student's grade level, current ability, schoolwork, goals, and learning style.
