• When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

  I developed an interest in the field of pharmacy during my undergraduate studies. I was fascinated by the chemistry and biology behind drug development and the intricacies of how medications interact with the human body. As for private tutoring, I have always been passionate about helping others learn and improve their understanding of complex subjects. I have been tutoring friends and family members for years and have decided to pursue it as a profession.

• Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

  I teach primarily mathematics and pharmaceutics, and I particularly enjoy discussing dosage calculations and drug interactions with my students. However, I do not enjoy biochemistry as much and tend to avoid it as a topic of discussion. Anatomy and pharmacology are also interesting subjects that I enjoy teaching.

• Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

  I had a teacher in pharmacy school who inspired me greatly. He had a way of breaking down complex concepts into understandable pieces and always encouraged his students to think critically and creatively. His passion for the subject was infectious, and I strive to emulate his teaching style in my own private tutoring sessions.

• Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

  In my opinion, the qualities required to be a good tutor include patience, adaptability, and a strong knowledge base in the subject being taught. It is also important to be able to communicate effectively with students and to be able to tailor teaching methods to meet their individual needs.

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  During my undergraduate studies, I struggled with a particularly challenging math course. I worked tirelessly to understand the material and eventually found success through the help of a tutor. That experience taught me the value of seeking help when needed and inspired me to become a tutor myself.

• What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?

  One of the biggest challenges I have faced in my subject is staying up-to-date with new medications and drug interactions as they are constantly changing. It is important for me to stay informed and knowledgeable so that I can provide the best possible tutoring experience for my students.

• Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

  My particular passion is teaching and helping others learn. I find it incredibly rewarding to see my students succeed and grow in their understanding of the subject. It is also fulfilling to know that I am making a positive impact on their lives.
