About Sampad
I am Sampad, currently a PhD student at USC, Los Angeles. I am deeply passionate about teaching and have been teaching since my undergraduate studies. My teaching deviates from the standard because instead of the definitions, I start with the problems that the student is asked to tackle and with some guidance, the student themselves arrive at the definitions and the relations between them naturally, just like the subject would have been discovered the first time. It brings in the sense of joy in explorations instead of the hatred people have towards authoritative teaching styles where you begin with the definitions and then solve problems because you must use the definition and theorems somewhere.
