About Ivan
I am a year 12 student who is currently studying for A-levels. I received 8s and 9s in the majority of my GCSEs, and I'm hoping that my tutoring will provide the same results for others. I'd say that I'm an experienced musician: after all, I've achieved a merit for grade 8 piano, a merit in grade 5 drums, and passed my grade 5 music theory exam. With my knowledge and skills, I'll be able to help the tutee to analyse musical features in order to help with GCSE music.

My lessons can range from 30-40 minutes (Zoom calls are capped at 40 minutes). If needed, more sessions can be planned in order to fulfil the tutee's requirements. I will mainly help with the physical paper rather than the performance and/or composing, as these are based solely on the skills of the student. During these lessons, we will analyse the tutee's set works, look over practice questions and practice musical dictation. I'm available from 11:00 - 5:00 on Saturdays and Sundays, which are my preferred hours of teaching, but if necessary, I'd also be able to teach from 7:00 - 8:00 from Mondays to Fridays.

Ivan is a trustworthy tutor because he is an organised person with an understanding demeanour that allows him to break down and consider problems that his tutees may have while solving a problem. He is also very proficient in both maths and science, scoring 9s in his GCSEs.
Ivan is one of my good friends at college and is great at explaining complex topics in a variety of ways, adjusting in complexity, having helped me multiple times with a variety of maths and physics topics and questions, providing a clear and step by step approach to explaining said topics. I would highly recommend him as a tutor as he also has patience in how long it takes someone to understand something and is willing to reexplain!
