I am a graduate of App State, and graduated high school with an Associate of Arts along with my diploma. My mother always told me I'd be a writer, and today I am living my dream of being a copywriter and editor.

My approach in tutoring begins with unpacking the foundation of a concept and working up to a thorough understanding of the subject. We start with getting to know each other; understanding communication and learning styles is the basis for effective learning. The ultimate goal in my tutoring is giving the student the ability to teach the subject matter to me; this requires a complete understanding of the subject. To be able to teach a concept means that critical thinking and information retention is at play, as opposed to memorization and regurgitation.
I tutor 3rd-10th graders looking to improve written and verbal communication skills.
