About WENHAO
Hello! My name is Wenhao. Please feel free to call me Edward! I am a Master of Applied Linguistics (TESOL) graduate from the University of Queensland, having two years of ESL teaching experience as an ELICOS (i.e. English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students) teacher in Australia. I am skilled in pronunciation & grammar & vocabulary teaching, task-based language teaching, classroom management, scaffolding language learning, intercultural communication, etc. Also, as a former international student, I have taken both IELTS and PTE tests multiple times. Knowing the common errors test takers would make in their preparations, I am able to provide strategies for students to address them effectively.

1. Skilled in arranging conversational activities which use certain grammatical patterns; Get used to eliciting responses from students, drawing their attention to given topics; Frequently use visualizations (e.g. pictures, videos) when students get stuck; analyze mistakes frequently made by students in test preparation and provide detailed suggestions.
2. A lesson usually lasts 1 - 1.5 hours.
3. Qualifications: Master of Applied Linguistics (TESOL); Bachelor of Business Management (HR). Both degrees have been obtained from the University of Queensland.
4. My lessons are for: adults at any language level who would like to improve their English and to go to English-speaking countries for work or travel; PTE & IELTS test takers.
Note: Mandarin and Cantonese are my first languages.
