About Isabel
I am an archaeologist, graduate and tutor of 4 years.
I studied at Cardiff University and did a year of study abroad at University of Oslo. I am particularly interested in osteology and environmental archaeology.
I recently excavated in Turkey, on a prehistoric archaeological site - it was exciting and enlightening. Here I helped teach small groups of students.
I greatly enjoy teaching and tutoring. I like helping students build their confidence and explore their ideas. It is rewarding to build on tricky parts of a curriculum and work together through new concepts and techniques to help a student excel.

Then we may analyse a text or go through a tricky concept with a practical.
Discussion and consolidation after several tasks practising the the issue.
Any further questions or concerns.
Followed by a final quiz/game based around the topic.
