About Lauren
Hi, I'm Lauren, a certified English teacher. To me, teaching isn't just a profession, it's something I really enjoy. Language connects people and I've always loved the English Language in particular, so my goal is to share what I know with others.

I ensure that my lessons are structured, authentic and interactive. My students are given ample time to practice as it is an integral part of acquiring any Language. They are also motivated to express themselves by sharing their thoughts with me while I listen attentively. I give commendation when appropriate and correction when a situation calls for it. My classes can last for 30 minutes or 1 hour, but it depends on the student. I teach children, teenagers and adults that are at the beginner or intermediate level. I've received pedagogical training from Arizona State University. I'm really looking forward to teaching here.
