About Michael
I am an independent photographer and photojournalist with a passion for research and discussion. I personally love the idea of helping to educate and develop future generations of prospective photographers. I believe there is a great deal of potential in the wake of the rapid and exponential growth of photographic and imaging technologies, my belief is that these future generations need adequate and ethical guidance in navigating these technologies as they develop their photographic practice.

My lessons have a significant focus on technical photographic skills, including the fundamentals of getting a perfect exposure, learning to manipulate shutter speed and depth of field and using programmes such as adobe bridge and photoshop to build a retouching workflow. My lessons also go into depth with photographic history with insights into the significance of photography in the socio-political landscape.
