I have also completed graduate studies in Business Administration, Education, and Law, reflecting my commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Teaching has always been one of my passions. As a former college instructor, I understand that every student has unique learning needs. I am a dedicated educator and professional with more than 30 years of combined experience in teaching, business management, healthcare, law, criminal investigation, and financial services. My career has allowed me to develop extensive practical knowledge that I now bring into the online classroom, helping students understand not only academic concepts but also their real-world applications.
My teaching journey began as a part-time College Instructor at San Pablo Colleges, where I taught Management subjects to college students. This experience strengthened my passion for education and inspired me to continue mentoring learners from diverse backgrounds. I believe that effective teaching goes beyond lectures—it involves guiding students to think critically, solve problems, and build confidence.
Academically, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Registered Nurse) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Management. I have also completed graduate units in Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Education (MAEd), and the College of Law, giving me a multidisciplinary perspective that enriches my teaching.
Throughout my professional career, I have gained valuable experience in several fields. As a Registered Nurse at the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM), I provided quality patient care and developed a strong understanding of healthcare practices. As a Special Investigator with the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), I conducted criminal investigations, gathered evidence, and prepared cases for prosecution, strengthening my analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. I also served as Legal Officer for CARD Bank, where I handled legal consultations and corporate matters, further enhancing my expertise in business and legal processes.
At present, I work as an Insurance Specialist with Fortune Life Insurance Company while also managing a health and wellness business. These roles allow me to continuously apply principles of financial planning, entrepreneurship, customer service, leadership, and business management in real-life situations.
As an online tutor, I specialize in helping students understand Business Management, Principles of Management, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, Marketing Fundamentals, Nursing concepts, Professional Ethics, Business Communication, and related subjects. I also provide guidance in research writing, case analysis, presentations, and practical applications of business and healthcare concepts.
