About Mark
I have taught guitar and theory study on the instrument for 3 years. I graduated Summa cum Laude at Berklee in Boston with a Bachelor degree in Guitar performance. My background can help you take your music to any level you are comfortable with. I have performed in many venues in Louisiana and Texas in both a solo acoustic format as well as in a variety of bands for crowds exceeding 5000 in attendance. I sing as well as play which has helped me in my musical endeavors. I started playing when I was 6 and started my musical journey with classical instruction, playing my first concert when I was 8.

My background can combine theory and song integration to better help you understand how what we listen to is constructed so you too can hear a song and identify its key and get to playing it faster! My students have been very happy being able to understand what’s happening on the guitar.
