About LeKaja
As an undergraduate in the Music program at Bethune-Cookman University, I immersed myself in music method courses and thrived as a well-rounded musician. I gained hands-on experience assisting and directing the Flute Choir & Ensemble, where I supported daily rehearsals, guided peers in effective rehearsal techniques, and modeled strong practice habits. As a piccolo player in the Marching Wildcat Band, I demonstrated consistent musicianship, school pride, and peer leadership. Today, I carry that same dedication and passion into my work as a flute instructor—bringing a supportive, reflective, and encouraging presence to every lesson. I strive to inspire students with the same enthusiasm and perseverance that have shaped my own journey in the performing arts.

As a flutist trained in music theory, aural skills, solo performance, woodwind ensemble, symphonic band, and marching band, I design lessons that blend the discipline of classical music with its powerful ability to heal the mind and body. My teaching approach nurtures both technical excellence and personal well-being, guiding students to develop strong musicianship while experiencing the joy and restorative nature of music.
I offer lessons for students of all levels. Just come with the will to learn and have fun.
