About Celia
I have completed an undergraduate in Biological Sciences and a research masters in Biology, both from the University of Oxford. I have worked on exciting research projects ranging from investigating HIV infection to surveying deep sea habitats!
I understand how stressful school exams can be, and I would love to provide a source of support to students where I can.

Lessons typically last no more than 1 hour (I don't like to overload my students!) and can be based on either what the student is currently studying in class or any areas they would like extra help on.
I like to use visual aids to help students understand biological processes. I try my best to cultivate a supportive and friendly atmosphere where there are no silly questions, as I believe that makes for the best learning. After I feel a student has grasped a biological concept, we will go over plenty of practice questions together from the appropriate exam board so that the student feels comfortable with what is required from them in an exam setting.
I have prior experience tutoring GCSE Biology and primary school science. I am happy to tutor A-level so long as I know which exam board the student is following in advance.
