About Dallas
My name is Dallas, and I am a graduate student in Biomedical Sciences with a strong background in clinical medicine and biomedical research. I am currently completing a rigorous master’s program while preparing for medical school. I work with high school, undergraduate, and pre-medical students in biology, biochemistry, physiology, and MCAT-related sciences.
I believe students learn best when they truly understand the material rather than relying on memorization alone. My teaching style emphasizes clear explanations, structured learning, and practical application of concepts to help students build confidence and long-term mastery.
My professional experience includes work as an emergency department medical scribe, EMT, histology technician, and senior biorepository research technician. These roles allow me to connect academic content to real-world medical and scientific contexts, making complex topics more approachable and relevant.
I take a patient, supportive, and professional approach to tutoring. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, strengthen their study skills, and gain confidence in their abilities.

My name is Dallas, and my goal as a tutor is to help students feel more confident and capable in subjects that often feel overwhelming. I focus on making complex science concepts clear and approachable, so students aren’t just memorizing material but actually understanding how it all fits together.
How I Teach:
I teach in a patient, step-by-step way and adjust my explanations to match how each student learns best. I use simple explanations, visuals, and real examples to help ideas stick. I also help students learn how to study more effectively, which often makes a big difference in both confidence and performance.
What a Session Looks Like:
Each session starts with a quick check-in to see what’s been challenging. We review key concepts together, work through practice questions, and end by summarizing what was covered and what to focus on next. Sessions are flexible and move at a pace that feels comfortable for the student.
What Makes Me Different:
Because of my background in clinical medicine and research, I can connect what students are learning to real-world applications. I’m supportive, encouraging, and especially mindful of students who feel stuck, discouraged, or unsure of themselves.
