About Sumeya
Hi! I’m a tutor with a strong background in both teaching and academics. I have experience tutoring Year 8 students in Maths and Science and would love to help you achieve your learning goals. I earned an A* in Chemistry at both A-level and GCSE, along with A* and A grades in all my Science and Maths GCSEs.
I also studied Chemistry at university, where I achieved First Class Honours, and I now work as a Data Analyst. My academic journey has given me a deep understanding of complex concepts, and I’m eager to share this knowledge with you.

As a tutor, my primary focus is to make learning engaging and accessible. I aim to break down complex concepts into manageable pieces, ensuring students truly understand the material rather than just memorising it. • Real-world connections: I draw on my experience as a Data Analyst and my academic background to show how subjects like Chemistry and Maths apply to everyday life.

Each lesson typically lasts 1 hour, allowing for in-depth exploration of topics while also giving time for review and practice. I adapt the pace based on the student’s needs and learning progress.
