As a graduate of Cornell University, with over 8 years of experience in mentorship and tutoring, I am confident in my ability to guide and support my students towards their goals. I utilize a holistic learning approach that is personalized to each individuals needs. Encompassing unique methods such as test preparation or interview preparation, sets me apart from other tutors. Lessons are tailored to the students needs whether it be essay writing, text commentary, or literacy practice. Having defended my capstone thesis and written additional white papers, while tutoring I use techniques to encourage different writing styles; while also boosting an individuals confidence in literature along the way. By offering positive feedback, collaborative writing approaches, and utilizing brainstorming techniques while tutoring, this invokes encouragement in order to elevate one's writing skills.
