About Amelia
Hi, I’m Amelia – a friendly and enthusiastic English tutor with a degree in English from the University of Exeter and a background in professional writing, theatre, and digital communications. I hold a BA in English from the University of Exeter and have worked for several years in roles focused on content creation, engagement, and storytelling. Alongside my professional work, I’m also an experienced theatre director and performer, which brings a creative and expressive dimension to my teaching. I believe that learning should be both structured and inspiring. My sessions are tailored to each student’s needs – whether you’re looking to boost your English grades, prepare for exams, improve your essay writing, or build confidence in reading and interpretation. I specialise in breaking down complex ideas, encouraging critical thinking, and helping students find their voice – on the page and beyond.
