In my classes, I follow a student-centered approach with step-by-step explanations, relatable examples, and guided problem-solving to help students build strong subject foundations and confidence. I have experience tutoring individuals and small groups in Biology, Chemistry, and Math, particularly students who come from diverse, first-generation, or low-income backgrounds—similar to those served by TRIO Academic Services (TAS) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) campus. My previous tutoring involved working with students slightly younger than college age, helping them grasp challenging concepts and improve academic performance. A typical session begins with a quick review, introduces new material in a structured manner, and ends with interactive exercises. I’m patient, adaptable, and dedicated to each student’s success. These classes are designed for school children, high schoolers, and college-level learners needing academic support, exam preparation, or personalized learning strategies. Tutoring can be coordinated through the TRIO TAS office located on the UAB campus for eligible students seeking additional support.
