Hello! My name is Solange and I am dedicated to making education accessible, engaging, and positive for my students. I love storytelling (movies and books), word games, fashion, beauty, and philosophy, and I love incorporating these interests into my lessons. My teaching style is often based in the needs of the student. A needs assessment is always the first course of action: this will tell me what motivates the student, what their goals are for learning and what things they need to work on the most. After I tailor lesson plans to their needs and interests to keep learning engaging and positive. I focus on positive reinforcement to create a stimulating and fun learning environment. Learning is supposed to be gratifying!
