About Olivia

Hello! I'm a qualified English teacher with a BA in English Literature, an MSc in Education, and a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
I've always loved English because it gives us the opportunity to explore different perspectives, develop our creativity, and grow in confidence. For me, teaching is about so much more than helping students pass exams - it's about helping them discover a love of learning that lasts beyond the classroom.
I'm a creative, patient and enthusiastic teacher who enjoys tailoring lessons to each student's individual needs. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing a child become genuinely excited about reading, sharing their ideas with confidence, or finally understanding something they once found difficult.
Whether you're aiming to improve your grades, prepare for GCSE or A-level exams, or simply build confidence in English, I'll provide a supportive and encouraging environment where you can ask questions, challenge yourself and enjoy learning.
I believe every student has the potential to succeed, and I'd love the opportunity to help you achieve your goals while making English an enjoyable and rewarding subject.

Hi! I'm a qualified English teacher with a BA in English Literature, an MSc in Education, and a PGCE with QTS. I believe every student can succeed with the right support, and my aim is to build confidence as well as improve grades.
Whether you're preparing for GCSE English Language, GCSE English Literature, A-level English, or simply want to strengthen your reading and writing skills, I offer patient, encouraging, and personalised lessons tailored to your individual needs and learning style.
Having recently completed my teacher training, I'm familiar with current teaching methods and understand the challenges students face in today's classrooms. My lessons are engaging, supportive, and designed to help students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their confidence.
I look forward to helping you achieve your goals and discover that English can be both enjoyable and rewarding!
