About Seth
Hello! My name is Seth, I am a graduate from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a minor in Chemistry, and I want to help you learn Biology and Chemistry. I have an extensive knowledge of these subjects and a passion for explaining them so that anyone can understand not just the theory but also the practical applications. I have experience editing genomes, and laboratory experience in Bioinformatics (the intersection between computer science and the biological sciences) and in Mycology (the study of fungi). I am available for anyone regardless of your prior experiences with science and I can guarantee that I will help you to gain a broad and strong understanding of Biology and Chemistry.

I believe in individualized learning, and the idea that everyone is capable of excelling in the sciences, regardless of their previous education or grades.
I will help target the areas in which it seems that you are struggling, and develop a plan which includes selected readings, discussion to help you understand the readings, and worksheets to help you practice until you are certain of the material you are seeking lessons in.
My goal is to help you establish a broad and strong foundation for understanding why the natural sciences are structured the way they are, how that applies to the world around you, and how to think critically and logically about any area of knowledge you should choose to learn.
I am happy to teach at any level, from middle school to senior year undergraduate and anyone regardless of age or background is welcome to inquire about lessons, I will do my best to tailor them to your individual needs.
