About Ganna
Hi! I’m Ganna, a Computer Science and IT graduate with a passion for helping students make sense of all things tech, from coding and data to problem-solving and project planning. I studied Computer Science at the University of Auckland before completing my degree in IT Services and Data Science at AUT. I’ve worked with students from different backgrounds, from high school learners just getting started with programming to university students tackling data analysis, Python, or SQL. My approach is hands-on, friendly, and focused on understanding rather than memorizing. When I’m not tutoring, you’ll probably find me exploring new places, painting, or walking on the beach. I focus on understanding, not memorization, using real-world examples, visuals, and hands-on exercises. Lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style and goals, with small projects and clear, step-by-step guidance. Lessons are typically 60–90 minutes, ending with a quick recap and a mini challenge to reinforce learning. Duration of the lesson is flexible though, based on the capacity and preference of each student. I helped classmates and peers with programming, IT, and data analysis; strong communication and mentoring skills, which are very important for high school or university students, and beginners wanting to improve in programming, data analysis, or IT concepts.
