I have over 2 years of experience as a Teaching Assistant for math and science courses at the college level. I'm also College Reading and Learning Association certified. I'm eager to help students with reading, math and science courses, from the middle school to college level! One of my most amazing and rewarding tutoring opportunities was working with an undergraduate meteorology student who has ADD and is also on the autism spectrum. We worked together for several years. During that time he overcame his academic probation status and eventually graduated from college and is now a graduate student! I learned so much from working with him, including the importance of teaching students to have self-confidence, to create a detailed plan and establish goals, and to remain dedicated to achieving those goals.
