About Brent
I am a native speaker and a have studied Spanish formally as a minor at Florida State University. I have taught Spanish in a variety of settings, most often informally in one-to-one situations. I have also learned several different facets of Spanish formally such as writing, pronunciation, and vocabulary. I also have a strong grasp on the importance of basics, such as the alphabet, verb tenses, grammar structures.

I assess a student's level of comprehension and comfort with the language to develop a plan to arrive at the level of mastery they hope to achieve in a given topic or skill. I can provide lessons fully in Spanish or English, as formally or informally as desired. I've both learned and taught Spanish in a variety of settings alongside people of all levels of understanding. I have a passion for Spanish as part of my heritage and I'd love to see more and more people learn and fall in love with the language.
