About Jacoby
As a Gates scholar, college student-athlete, and Harvey Mudd graduate I can say that I've experienced the American academic journey near to the full extent. I believe that if I can reach my academic goals, anyone can. I've tutored and mentored students in high school as well as college on technical subjects ranging from pre-algebra to linear algebra and have a background in computer science.

I believe the best way to learn anything is by practicing. More specifically, practicing the right things. A typical lesson may begin with an introduction to a concept, some key problem solving tools, a few example problems, and an overview of the practice problems to be assigned. Other lessons may be more catered to you depending on your goals and needs. The academic world is constantly changing, and what worked for me may not work for you, I believe in strong communication with my clients.
