My background is in Medical Humanities from Houston Baptist University with a Certificate in Chemical Dependency Counseling.

- My teaching methods and techniques include a practical approach: asking engaging questions, making sure the student is following along, and making fun lesson plans with games to retain information

- A typical lesson plan looks like this:
a. Starting off with an introduction to a topic, followed by a quote that supports that topic.
b. Explaining the quotes with real-life, practical examples
c. Asking questions about how this applies to the current world and society we live in
d. Diving into the lesson for about 10-15 minutes in detail
d. Opening a time for questions
e. Have a short knowledge check to make sure the students retained the information

- What sets me apart as a tutor is that I am flexible in how I can relay information to different age groups. I am able to relate lessons and apply them to students' lives so they can have a better understanding of what they're learning. I bring 10 years of teaching into this field and I am very passionate about working with students to help them grow in their studies.
