About Samuel
I’m a music graduate who genuinely enjoys working with people and helping them grow in confidence through creative learning. I’m drawn to teaching because I’ve seen how powerful creative subjects can be when they’re taught in a supportive, practical way — especially for people who may not have felt comfortable or confident in traditional learning environments.

My teaching style is relaxed, practical, and very much about meeting people where they’re at. I’m not big on talking AT people, I’d rather explain something simply, have a conversation about what works and then get stuck in and learn by doing.
Lessons are usually 45 - 60 minutes. Long enough to get into a flow, short enough that everyone still has a functioning attention span. Shorter sessions are more skills-focused, longer ones leave room for experimenting, chatting things through, and figuring out what works.
I’ve got a degree in Music and a background in live performance, events, and collaborative creative work — so I’m teaching from experience, not just theory.
I’m comfortable working with all ages, mixed abilities, different confidence levels, and people who maybe haven’t had the best experiences with education before.
